Anthony Walsh
Parent, Carer, Occupational Therapist
About
Hi, my name is Anthony Walsh. I am fortunate to live in subtropical Australia, where I have access to many therapeutic landscapes. I am an Occupational Therapist with a background in neurological rehabilitation and research interest in post-stroke fatigue. I share the Parent and Carer roles with my wife. My interests include trail running, native plants, cooking and generally being in nature.
MalleeAble has grown and adapted as my own values and perspectives shifted when faced with periods of chronic stress. It was a model that was created slowly as the seasons allowed with the hope of paying forward the assistance our family has received.

I acknowledge the Turrbul people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which this guide was produced, and pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
As an Occupational Therapist, I also wish to acknowledge our long traditions of using plants, nature, gardening and horticulture to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for individuals.
Mission:
Provide individuals and community organisations with improved access to a holistic model of wellbeing and flourishing that is rooted in our local Australian and is strengthened by lived experience, diverse cultural worldviews and a deep reverence and connection to nature.
Values
- Kind-to-self (Accepting and Self-Compassionate care)
- Connected
- Adaptable
- Self-Determined, self-led care
